Preparing evaluators, operators, and support staff for statewide athletic testing.
The TXSAT Evaluator Certification Program provides a structured, competency‑based training pathway for individuals supporting statewide athletic testing. Training emphasizes accuracy, consistency, and professional readiness across all evaluator levels.
Core Principle:
Certified evaluators must demonstrate the knowledge, skill, and professionalism required to support TXSAT events, evaluations, and athlete assessments with precision and consistency.
The program is delivered through a combination of online instruction, hands‑on technical training, and supervised field experience. Each level builds the evaluator’s technical proficiency, understanding of standardized measurement, and ability to operate within TXSAT and 5 Star Youth Ranking protocols.
TXSAT certification is required for:
Measure Up! operators (must be at least Eval. I)
Speed Stage timing operators (must be at least Eval. II)
Check‑in and athlete flow staff = (must be at least Eval. I)
On‑field evaluators- (must be at least Eval. III)
Volunteer evaluators - (must be at least Eval. I)
Coaches, parents, and school staff do not need certification unless they want to work as official TXSAT evaluators.
A statewide professional development pathway operated by 5 Star Youth Ranking.
TXSAT Evaluators are trained athletic performance technicians who support athlete testing and evaluation across Texas. Evaluators play a key role in:
Measure Up! biometric stations
Speed Stage Zybek timing stations
Video capture and analysis
In‑person athlete evaluations
Game‑day evaluations
School‑site evaluations
Add‑on and private evaluation services
TXSAT is the statewide standard for athlete metrics.
5 Star Youth Ranking built the system, operates it, and assigns all evaluators to events, schools, and evaluations.
Learn athlete analytics, biomechanics, performance science, and data integrity — taught in a way that anyone can learn with time and commitment.
Certification is free only during the initial statewide rollout and only for a limited time.
