WELCOME, PARENT/GUARDIAN 

Your athlete has been selected to participate in the Texas Student Athlete Test/TXSAT Launch Event, a statewide initiative designed to provide free, objective, and development‑focused athletic measurement for students across Texas.

TXSAT is conducted in partnership with campuses, districts, and community organizations to ensure every athlete receives:

• A fair, standardized athletic evaluation

• A clear understanding of their strengths

• Data‑driven feedback to support growth

• Access to future development pathways and opportunities

Participation is FREE and open to all athletes in grades 5–12.

WHAT TXSAT MEASURES

TXSAT evaluates key athletic performance indicators, including:

• Speed (40/60/100 yard dash- with 10 and 20 yard split)

• Agility: 5-10-5, L Drill

• Power: Vertical and Broad Jump

• Physical metrics: Height, Weight, Wing Span, Handspan

All results are delivered to families and campuses to support athlete development.

How to complete registration (3 steps)

To ensure a smooth experience, please complete all three steps below. 

STEP 1 — Register Your Athlete 

This form collects all required information for TXSAT operations, including waivers, emergency contacts, and athlete details. Please note that a parent or guardian's signature will be required at check in at the Measure Up! event June 27. After your athlete(s) are registered, you will receive a confirmation email, your unique Athlete ID(s) and a link to Step 2: Schedule your arrival time.

STEP 2 — sCHEDULE YOUR ARRIVAL TIME 

After completing registration, you will be receive: a confirmation email, your Athlete ID, and a link to select your athlete’s arrival window for the TXSAT Launch Event at Mueller.

Arrival scheduling is required. Spots are limited. Once all arrival windows are filled, registration will close. If you do not receive your confirmation email, Athlete ID, and/or link to select your arrival window, email: parentservices@txsat.org or call 512) 500-0334.

STEP 3 — Optional Add‑Ons (Professional Evaluations)

Full Athlete Scouting Report — $250

The Full Athlete Scouting Report is the college‑level evaluation every youth athlete deserves.

Event day information

On the day of testing:

• Please ensure your athlete arrives on time

• A physical signature will be required at check‑in 

• For Measure Up! Athletes should wear clothing that allows height, weight, wing span, and handspan. Video cameras and interviews will be held so please be prepared to be on camera. 

• The Measure Up! portion of the TXSAT will take no longer than 30 minutes to complete.

You will receive confirmation emails detailing your Athlete ID, links to schedule your time slot (do this quickly!), links for Add Ons, tips, and upcoming posts, podcasts, latest news, and more.
