The Texas Student Athlete Test (TXSAT) is the statewide standard for athletic evaluation — free and open to all middle school and high school athletes in every sport, male and female. TXSAT is not a hype event or a football combine. It is a twice‑a‑year, fully standardized measurement system designed to give every athlete in Texas a fair, objective starting point.
TXSAT has two stages, generally held as separate events:
Stage 1 — Measure Up! (Biometric Intake)

This stage is fast, orderly, and takes under 10 minutes.
Stage 2 — Speed Stage (Full Athletic Test)

All results are certified by Zybek Sports — the industry standard used by the NFL Combine.

It creates each athlete’s verified profile before they enter the full TXSAT.

TXSAT™ is administered by 5 Star Youth Ranking™, a designated Zybek Sports® Certified Student Athlete Testing Center, ensuring all testing is performed using Zybek Sports® certified equipment and standards.
